Pilates workouts train the body as a whole, with concentration on the core. It increases lower and upper body strength, flexibility, and muscle development and promotes an increase in range of motion.
Pilates is designed for all ages and all body types. We will encourage everyone to start with a level one, and work your way up to an increased level class based on your goals.
Benefits include, but are not limited to detoxification, relaxation, pain relief, weight loss, improved circulation and skin purification.
The infrared spectrum consists of near (NIR), mid (MIR) and far (FIR) waves, each with distinct characteristics. NIR promotes skin renewal, cell health, wound healing and tissue growth. MIR helps expand blood vessels and increases circulation, reducing pain and increasing speed of healing processes. FIR stimulates the sweat glands, resulting in a deep, detoxifying sweat.
This style of sauna allows for you to wear your clothing. We incorporated it into our studio, so you can pop into a 15 or 30 minute session pre or post your workout without doing anything other than stepping in and enjoying the benefits!
We believe it is important to keep your body moving. Ideally three to four workouts a week is best. We also believe you don’t want to allow your workouts to become stagnant, so not only do we change up your reformer workout daily, we also offer other classes: mat pilates, yoga and hybrid. We know schedules get busy, so we have incorporated a virtual ability if you cannot make it into the studio.
Yes, we offer a free trial class to anyone who wants to try The Fit Stop for the first time. Simply complete the Free Trial class form and book in a time to come in for your first class. After you have attended your free class we encourage you to become part of the community so you can make the most of what our gym has to offer.
