Green Apple Core Fitness

Green Apple Core Fitness is located on the brick road in Zionsville in the Potpourri Building. After climbing the few steps to our location, you will instantly feel comforted with an amazing community of like minded individuals and well trained staff members that have your best interest at hand! Between a variety of pilates, yoga and hybrid style classes and high end activewear apparel, there is something for everyone to love!

Our staff is qualified and passionate, and every instructor brings a different dynamic to Core Fitness, giving you a variety of expertise with each workout!

Shelly Petrowski-Owner

As a mom, wife, fashion lover and wellness connoisseur, I love a challenge! With an ex-NFL husband (who has more drive and grit than the average person), I was exposed to several workout styles, but until I discovered Pilates, I hadn’t found the one that I loved enough to do incorporate into my daily routine. Taking the impact level down, yet getting strength, stretching and cardio, I fell in love! I believe it is challenging for everyone, and hope that myself and my staff can give you the workout you need to feel incredible after every session!

Gretta Pote

Gretta Pote has been certified in IM=X Pilates since 2012 and has been teaching locally since that time. She began as a client and fell in love with the way reformer Pilates provides complete body wellness by challenging muscle development both in strength and flexibility. Gretta is the Director of Bands at Clay Middle School in Carmel, IN and loves to spend time with family and friends!

Megan Howard

Megan Howard received her IM=X certification in August 2023 and has been working at Core Fitness ever since. She has enjoyed taking Pilates reformer classes for over 15 years. She loves the opportunity to gain strength and stretch all within the same workout! Megan loves to be outside walking her dog or exploring new places.

Jaime Gonzales

Jaime’s extensive Pilates education and teaching experience began in 2002, by completing his first certification with Real Pilates NYC in Barcelona Spain. After that he moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to join a group composed of Kinesiologists (physical therapists), physical educators, and Pilates instructors to work with Parkinson’s patients at the Hospital de Clínicas (the public hospital in Buenos Aires) led by Tamara Di Tella.

In 2007 Jaime returned to Mexico City, Mexico, where he worked for 11 years for the largest fitness company in the country, Sports World, where he had the opportunity to continue teaching, learning, growing, and expanding his experience.

Jaime has been licensed and certified with Stott Pilates, Redcore Physical, Active Core, and Lagree Pilates. The experience with these organizations has provided him with a variety of tools and techniques to work with a multitude of clientele of varying ability and skill levels in his personal and collective sessions and make great progress. In 2018 he moved to India to live and study the spiritual disciplines of yoga and meditation. All these experiences allow Jaime to give his clients a complete holistic experience where the body connects with the mind and energy.
